England - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District

After exploring St Nicholas Church we went out back to have a look at Marmion Tower. This gatehouse is all that remains of the mansion that used to be here in the 1400s. On the ground floor is the porter’s lodge with a fireplace, small cupboard and latrine.
